A great golf course designer Michael J. Strantz, 50, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005. 

Mike as a maverick and artistic golf course architect is familiar to the many golfers who played and enjoyed his unusually picturesque and challenging golf courses.  The list includes Caledonia, True Blue, and Bulls Bay in SC. There are Tobacco Road and Tot Hill Farms in NC.  The others include Stonehouse and Royal New Kent in VA, plus Silver Creek and Monterrey Peninsula in CA.  Mike died after a four year battle with cancer.  For more details please refer to http://www.mikestrantzdesign.com/obituary.html
