The partnership will originate at The Links at Waterchase in Dallas and ultimately will be established at all of Jim McLean's golf schools worldwide.
The GolfPsych System was developed through working with Tour players and thousands of other tournament players, Juniors to Pros. The GolfPsych System begins with an assessment of the personality and mental skills of the player. Unique strengths and challenges are recognized and guide the process of learning to emulate the frequent winners in competition and developing the mental skills necessary to performance in golf.
GolfPsych has researched, developed and patented a method for reducing stress or tension and the Mind Meter, patent pending, for measuring it on the golf course.
"Jim McLean's Golf Schools will now offer unprecedented comprehensive golf instruction by combining GolfPsych's 8 Champion Personality traits for success in Golf with my 8-Step Swing system," explains Jim McLean.
GolfPsych Instructors will provide guidance individually and in group schools at each McLean location and offer follow-up coaching by telephone and email afterwards.
"GolfPsych and Jim McLean Golf Schools are both highly respected by Tour players. Joined together they offer an outstanding opportunity to the avid golfer to develop their complete game" adds Jon Stabler, CEO of GolfPsych.
About Jim McLean
PGA Master Professional Jim McLean has utilized his successful 8-Step Swing system to help students ranging from beginners to top tour professionals such as Tom Kite and Cristie Kerr. The full swing system isolates eight essential areas that contribute to a sound swing and presents them in a highly teachable manner. Students are videotaped in Jim McLean's patented SUPERSTATION facilities which include multiple indoor and outdoor hitting bays outfitted with digital video and computer monitors that capture every key swing point from the exact same position each time, allowing the Master Instructors to immediately analyze and evaluate the swing. Adjustments can be made on the spot - repeated, recorded and reviewed - resulting in an improved game for any level of player. This indoor/outdoor instruction program is part of McLean's "theory of elimination" that breaks down the critical aspects of each student's swing to understandable ideas that every student can achieve.
Jim McLean is the author of 10 top selling instructional books and dozens of videos and CD Roms including the X-Factor Swing, The 8-Step Swing and The Three Scoring Clubs. McLean, one of the top three ranked instructors in the world, has taught more than 100 PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA Tour players and well as some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Jim McLean Golf School's instructors include a who's who list of top instructors, each of whom have completed McLean's intense training program for consistent delivery of his patented methods.
