Comments - Experience what the legendary Hale Irwin brings to
golf course design. The Meadowlands Golf Course, easily accessible from
Winston-Salem, Greensboro and High Point, wanders through a natural
setting with long, rolling fairways and luscious bent grass greens. The
Meadowlands golf course can be walked, although there are some
considerable elevation changes on the course. While it may be
challenging to climb up the 4th and 5th holes, you are rewarded with the
tee shot at the par-3 6th, where you hit to a green that is anywhere
from 40 to 75 feet and only 120 to 180 yards away. Club selection is
challenging, to say the least!! Get a birdie there, and you will have no
problem getting around the rest of the course. Located in the heart of the Piedmont Triad in Winson-Salem, the Meadowlands Golf Course hosts many tournaments and outings. Call ahead to be sure you can get your tee-time of choice. A new membership program offers many different membership levels and multiple benefits to area golfers. Complementing the course is a well-stocked golf shop and an intimate grill with all the food and beverage options. A new outdoor patio area is suitable for large group outings. |
