Comments - Star Hill Golf Club is an outstanding 27-hole layout featuring bent grass greens
with winter seeding where the fairways drain exceptionally well. This means that
the Star Hill Golf course is Green Year 'Round. The course has tee-to-green concrete
paths on all 27 holes. Electric carts with rain hoods are available, although
walking is allowed at any time. The course is very well maintained and well-laid
out, creating a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.
Recognized as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the
Star Hill Golf course winds through a pine forest serenely removed from the noise, traffic, and
distractions of everyday life. Star Hill derives it's name from Indian Folklore
which describes a meteor shower in the area - check out the meteor fragment in
the clubhouse that was found on the course! You would be hard pressed to
find friendlier staff anywhere. A wide variety of reasonably priced
memberships are available. Star Hill Golf Club has the facilities to accommodate
vacationers and outings of any size. |
