Breathtakingly beautiful, this amazing track on the Delaware River would make Ben Franklin forget his lightning rod-kite (even though he didn't play golf). Bordered by the Delaware River and Big Timber Creek, River Winds Golf Club will keep you entertained with passing tugboats, ocean freighters (see below), and airline jets landing and taking off from the Philadelphia International Airport across the river. Complete with the challenge of Delaware River changing winds it is worth the 10 minute drive from the Walt Whitman Bridge. River Winds Golf Club is a Ron Jaworski owned golf facility. |
