The tee shot shown at left presents water on the left and sand on the right. The only option is to drive it straight off the tee.  However a drive with good length will payoff with a high iron choice to a narrow and sloped green guarded in front with a bulkhead and pond as seen above. An approach too short is wet, but too long is often worse with a chip downhill to a steeply sloped green.
