Waterford Hole 1, Par 4, Hcp#14......Layout | Tees at 414/384/357/297 .....................Next |
The tee shot for this dogleg right par 4 must be left of lake and surrounding trouble on right and be short of trees through fairway. The white pole in the center of the fairway which marks 150 yards to center of green (on all holes except par 3s) is the ideal marking method since it saves the time trying to find less obvious devices. |
Notes For Women by Barbara Hallisey. Our tees are far enough forward that we aren't playing a dogleg hole. Long hitters can take aim at the left side of the green and leave themselves a pitch and putt. Just guard agains't pushing it right. It pays to stay short of the pin on the approach, as the green slopes back to front. |
