St. Johns Golf Course is an excellent venue for
visitors to St. Augustine, and an outstanding value. The 27-hole layout
is beautifully
designed and is arranged for walking. The course is set among towering
pines, natural vegetation and numerous ponds to integrate the natural beauty
into the complete golf experience. Wildlife abounds, and the course
shares its property with many of Florida's natural wildlife - but stay away
from the alligators!!
Three distinct nines offer multiple playing configurations that offer variety typically unavailable at other courses. SJGC offers the area's largest public practice facilities that includes an expansive grass tee driving range measuring over 325 yards long with a private backside tee area for individual and group instruction, a two-tiered chipping green and a separate, and well-manicured putting green. And there is a full service club repair shop on site in case you damaged any of your clubs traveling on your golf vacation. Sandbaggers Bar & Grill is a full service snack shack and restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner items, in addition to a full selection of beverages including beer and liquor. |
