From Southern Pines, take Midland Rd. exit off US 1 toward Pinehurst Village, turning right on NC Hwy 22. Drive to the stoplight at the Moore County Airport intersection. Turn right onto Airport Road. Turn left onto Hardee Lane just past the runway of the airport. Take the third left (past Bogie and Birdie lanes) onto Country Club Boulevard. The clubhouse and parking lot will be on your right. |

In 1959, Ellis Maples was contracted by a group of private individuals to build them two golf courses. What he created through the whispering pines of the Carolina Sandhills has stood the test of time and represents some of his best work. |
